We make tadelakt plaster based on the materials of the well-known Dutch brand Terrafino.
We have widened our clay plaster offer with the inclusion of tadelakt – an ancient Morrocan plaster. It is a natural plaster made of lime and fine marble designed for use inside or out. The rich colour scheme and velvety soft aspect of tadelakt give the interior of a room an original and beautiful character. The universal character of the product means that it is suitable for all styles from historic to traditional or modern buildings. When the work is finished the surface looks like marble.
It is a plaster which is`dyed in the mass`using exclusively mineral pigments with a stable colouring. (UV resistant – it does not change its colour). Any colour of Tadelakt is possible, however it is advisable to use the basic range of colours offered by the manufacturer.
Tadelakt is water-proof and resistant to the growth of fungi. It is vapour permeable and possesses disinfecting properties. It is therefore ideal for use in bathrooms and other wet rooms prone to moisture, like steam baths, shower cabins and pools.
The immense flexibility of Tadelakt enables even the most finessed shapes to be made, which means that not only walls can be finished with this product, but it is also possible to shape surfaces for furniture, fireplaces and other architectural elements.
Tadelakt may also be used in place of stone or ceramic coverings due to the fact that it is washable. The additional impression of warmth, the elimination of joints and the smooth appearance of a surface with irregular shapes and corners are also obtainable with Tadelakt.
