During September and October 2012, upon the commission of FORMES Sp z o.o, the Civil Engineering Department of the Cracow University of Technology carried out a “technical examination of the construction of formwork constructional clay walls together with modern insulation materials” including a microclimate examination.

Below selected fragments of the work are presented:

“On the basis of the conducted research and calculation analyses, the following results may be compiled:
1. Innovative technology for the construction of layered walls with the external layer of thermal insulation enables the building of walls of a thermal insulation meeting the modern requirements of the thermal protection of buildings.
2. The measurements of thermal comfort within the building with walls made of clay with insulation of mineral wool indicated the highest standard of comfort for the people using the room for the measurement time of the research”.

“Benefits gained from the technological innovations implemented by FORMES:

Using the technology of the construction of constructional clay walls guarantees high microclimate parameters inside the buildings.
The innovative technology of insulating clay walls with a layer of mineral wool, which has not been seen before in the modern construction industry, allows for considerable cost savings in the erection and use of the buildings”
