Good microclimat

We make clay plaster (dyed in the mass – not requiring additional painting) based on materials of the recognized company Tierrafino and Sand & Lehm.
The plasters which we offer may be applied both on buildings which are already inhabited, by applying a thin layer of plaster, 3mm thick, on the already existing plaster, and on newly erected buildings, by applying a thick layer of plaster, 3cm thick, directly onto the bare walls or ceiling.
The wide selection of materials and technologies which we have, enable us to achieve any surface texture, from a smooth`Venetian`surface, through decorative effects, to a natural rustic, and any colour. However, using the few dozen basic colours offered by the manufacturer is recommended.
Clay plasters significantly improve the microclimate of a room and therefore, due to health reasons, are especially recommended for places intended for regular use by people.
The use of clay plasters is possible on most of the commonly used bases used in the building trade. They can be used on bricks, ceramic breezeblocks, silicate blocks, normal concrete, autoclaved aerated concrete and also on clay surfaces.
In the case of a weak base, we apply the clay plaster on a mesh of jute or reeds, that is, on natural materials. Thanks to the significant weight (about 18kg/m2 of a layer of plaster with a thickness of 1cm) and the large heat capacity of clay plaster used traditionally, the wall accumulates heat. This property is often used in rooms with wall heating and means that a pleasant heat radiation may be gained.
With newly built constructions the so-called technological dampness often occurs. This is connected to the water used in`wet`construction works which does not have time to evaporate before the building comes into use. As a consequence, it causes too much humidity and even mold on the walls. Clay plaster used on such walls regulates this problem, thanks to its ability to absorb humidity and then return it to its surroundings.
